PURPOSE:To improve the lubricity and strength in the composite by sintering a ceramic green compact in which solid lubricating powder is uniformly dispersed and controlling the thermal decomposition in the lubricant. CONSTITUTION:Mixed powder of which a solid lubricating material (such as graphite) and ceramic powder (such as alumina) are uniformly mixed is compacted to obtain a green compact. Next, in the green compact, the ceramics for forming a matrix is sintered while controlling the thermal decomposition in the lubricating material, and the unnecessary part is worked away from the sintered body, by which the lubricating ceramic composite constituted of a lubricant (including a solid lubricant)-ceramic composite layer and a ceramics independent layer can be obtd. |
