PURPOSE:To stabilize vibration isolating property and facilitate detection of abnormality by connecting a load carrying platform and a base to be loaded with machinery to each other through a series of suspension members respectively engaging with both parts and having small flexural rigidity, and further arranging an pneumatic spring between the platform and the base. CONSTITUTION:The outside case 4 and the inside case 5 of a vibration isolator 3 are connected to each other through a series of suspension members 6 respectively engaging with the beam member 41 of the case 4 and the beam member 51 of the case 5 and having small flexural rigidity. Hereby, the load generated by placing machinery 8 is actuated on the suspension members 6 nearly uniformly. At increasing amplitude of vibration of a base 1, increase of the amplitude is prevented by abutting of the base 1 against the pneumatic spring 12 fitted on a load carrying platform 2. Further, by raising the pressure of the pneumatic spring 12 in the standstill condition and measuring displacement delta of the base 1 at the time, abnormality of the damper. |
