PURPOSE:To perform an arbitrary screen angle control by a method wherein an image forming signal generation means outputting the AND of a blanking signal swept by a sweep control means with image data made of predetermined density information as image data is provided, and a sweep control means receives at least two sweep control signals in the same main-scanning recording direction. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal generation circuit 10 generates a synchronizing signal 3 from a clock signal 1 on the basis of a horizontal synchronizing signal 2. A sweep control circuit 11 receives the synchronizing signal 3 and a clock signal 4 and conducts a sweep control to output a delayed synchronizing signal 5. A blanking signal generation circuit 12 applies a blanking signal processing to image data 6 on the basis of the delayed synchronizing signal 5 and outputs image data 7 with a shifted image writing start position. This image data 7 under a screen angle control is outputted as an image forming signal. |
