The invention concerns a method for the manufacture of a rotary valve sleeve for hydroguides, that provides for: - machining two symmetrical annular rebates at the opposite ends of the axial bore, - producing in the said axial bore, by broaching, longitudinal grooves passing from one end rebate to the other and with a depth of not greater than that of the said rebates, - the insertion and fitting in the said end rebates of the pre-prepared annular rings designed to close the opposite ends of the said grooves.
