SINTERED LIME MELDED BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve slaking resistance by forming each ridge part into curved shape at which a plane confronts other plane or a curved surface. CONSTITUTION:Powdery lime obtd. by calcining and crushing CaCO3 is press- molded with a desired mold to obtain a crucible-shaped molded body 20. The projection 22 of the top 21 of the molded body 20 is rasped off and the periphery of the top 21 is polished. The circumferencial edge 23 of the bottom is then polished and the molded body is sintered to produce a sintered lime molded body with curved ridges such as lime crucible having about 3.24g/cm<3> apparent density and about 3.06g/cm<3> bulk density.
