<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject equipment designed to shorten vegetable reviving time by cooling the inside of a vessel holding vegetables to a specified temperature followed by reducing in-vessel pressure to a specified level and then water sprinkling. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a vessel 1 holding vegetables A is cooled with a refrigerating machine 4, and the vegetables are sprinkled with water from a sprinkler 3 while maintaining the in-vessel pressure at a specified level using a vacuum pump 2; thereby enabling water to be replenished between the cells of the vegetables.</p> |
