<p>PURPOSE: A retainerless weather strip is provided to ensure stable sealing property over the whole zone of the weather strip by extrusion molding a high foaming sponge material to a cutout stage part in a base part lower surface of an extrusion molding part, and sticking the other high foaming sponge material on a stage cut part formed on the base part lower surface of a mold foaming part. CONSTITUTION: A retainerless weather strip(10) is composed of a base part(11) attached to a door panel(30) by a double-stick tape, a hollow seal part(12) which is brought into elastically contact with a body positioning on an interior side(50), and a seal lip part(13) which is positioned on an outside(60), and which is brought into elastically contact with the body and the door panel(30). In this case, a high foaming sponge material(18) is extrusion molded to a cutout state formed on the outside(60) of a lower surface in the base part(11) of the extrusion molding part(14). A stage cut pat(17) whose cross section shape is the same shape as that of the cutout stage part(16), is mold formed on the outside(60) of the lower surface in the base part(11) of the mold forming part(15). The high foaming sponge material(18) whose cross section is the same shape as that of the high foaming sponge material(11) is stuck on the stage cut part(17).</p> |
