PURPOSE:To provide an image processor by which a reproduced image close to an original document can be obtained and it is recognized that the image is the copied and reproduced image. CONSTITUTION:As for an area decided to be an image information area by an image information area detection means 2 detecting the image area of the image from inputted image data 1, the prescribed information is added around the image information area by an information addition means 3. Therefore, since the prescribed information is added around the respective image information areas when there are the plural image information areas, the copying content of the image information area is not impaired by the added information and it is recognized from the added information that the image is the reproduced image.
