PURPOSE:To perform a fault recording so as to recognize whether a fault such as overcurrent, etc., generates due to instantaneous power failure as a trigger factor or not in a controller such as a motor variable speed controller, etc., whose control performance is affected by the fluctuation of a system power source. CONSTITUTION:When an instantaneous power failure is detected, the instantaneous power failure is immediately recorded as a first fault cause like fault recording data M1 and an instantaneous power failure timer is started. When other fault (overcurrent in this case) is detected, the overcurrent is recorded as a second fault cause like fault recording data M2 by defining the instantaneous power failure as a trigger factor if the detection point of time is before the instantaneous power failure timer is timed up, but the overcurrent is recorded as a first fault cause like a fault recording data M3 by defining the overcurrent as the one having no relation with the instantaneous power failure if the detection point of time of overcurrent is after the timer is timed up. |
