<p>PURPOSE:To transfer handwriting data on a signature, etc., to a card issue company by providing a communication terminal which sends input information of a portable handwriting input processing means to the outside and mutually connecting the handwriting input processing means and a communication terminal to each other by radio. CONSTITUTION:A portable handwriting input device 10 is connected to a POS terminal 40 by radio. A customer's credit card is read by the card reader 56 of the POS terminal 40 and the data base of the card issue company is inquired of; when the card is usable, data on a customer's purchased article are inputted on a keyboard 52 and a document for the credit card on which the amount, etc., are printed is printed out on a printer 54. A handwriting input pad 12 senses the pressure of strokes of a signature and a data entry into the document and outputs coordinate data on handwriting positions to a CPU 20 in order. The input data are sent to the terminal 40 through the CPU 20, a transmitting circuit 22, a circulator 26, and an antenna 28 and the terminal 40 transfers the data to the host computer of the card issue company through a modem 60 and a communication line 62.</p> |
