The saw teeth are fitted in the support (T) running direction and are of different type w.r.t. their working edges. There are two types of teeth, differing in the cutting edge shape and/or position. One tooth type forms cutting teeth (1), while the other type forms broaching and smoothing teeth (2). Pref., both types of the teeth are arranged in periodical attenuation along the support. They are typically coupled to the support in an exchangeable manner. The spacing of the teeth of the two types differs in the support running direction. ADVANTAGE - Smooth cut and a low working force.
