<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the liquid phase temperature of fused cryolite by arranging strip-like supporters on a metal container containing a fused object, an opening on the upper side of the container, and a thermocouple in the container. SOLUTION: A container 1 is made of copper, and it has a thin wall. The wire of a thermocouple 2 is sealed at its end section, and it is arranged in a small quartz tube protruded in the container 1. The small quartz tube has a cover made of nonoxidizing TiB2 , TiN, or BN. This cover is obtained when flame spraying, plasma flame spraying, or vacuum deposition is applied. The container 1 is rotation-symmetrical, it has an opening, and it is fixed to multiple supporters 3 made of a metal wire. The supporters 3 and the thermocouple 2 are fixed to a sleeve 6 made of a fire-resistant meterial by cement 5, and the thermo-wire of the thermocouple 2 is connected to the contact point of a connecting member 7 on the inside of a sleeve 6. The contact point of the connecting member 7 is conductively connected to a signal wire.</p> |
