摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide the three-dimensional coordinate input device which is in simple structure and good in operability by using an ordinary two-dimensional coordinate input device main body. CONSTITUTION: This device consists of the two-dimensional coordinate input device main body 10, an indication rod 12 for X-Y coordinate indication which has a conic elastic tip part 11, an area arithmetic part 20 as a depression degree detection part, and a Z coordinate prescribing part 30. The two-dimensional coordinate input device main body 10 is based upon a photoelectric system or pressure sensing system. The area arithmetic part 20 finds depression contact area from respective coordinate values outputted from the two-dimensional coordinate input device main body 10 at the time of depression. The respective X and Y coordinates are obtained corresponding the point contact place or light contact place of the elastic tip part 11 of the indication rod on the X-Y coordinate surface of the two-dimensional coordinate input device main body 10, and the Z coordinate is obtained through the Z coordinate prescribing part 30 according to depression contact area as the degree of depression of the elastic tip part 11.</p>
