PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium having a reduced containing space, a cassette for containing it, a recording method for the recording medium and a printer in which a long recording medium can be fed and used readily without increasing the frequency of replacement even in a small printer. SOLUTION: A long stripe material is wound up previously onto a carrying belt while fixing the end thereto thus constituting a recording medium. According to the structure, a long recording medium can be fed to a printer and used readily while reducing the space for containing the recording medium. The stripe long material can be fixed to the carrying belt and removed therefrom readily by pressing it vertically from a state wound up columnarly and making the long material wound around the carrying belt, which is wound around a pair of shafts, to be fixed removably in a deformable recording medium. |
