PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air-conditioner which is provided with a unit body constituted of the rear plate and the front face panel to facilitate the piping works in a containing part for the pipes and increase the working efficiency. SOLUTION: A unit body 1 which is a combined body of the rear plate 3 and the front face panel 2, is fixed to an installation plate 15 attached on a wall face of an air-conditioner chamber. The space between the lower rear face side of the rear plate and the installation plate is formed as a containing part 18 for auxiliary pipes 16, a drain hose 17, etc. A fixing part 3a fitted to the upper end of the installation plate is provided at the upper end of the rear plate 3. A hooking claw 19 fixed to the lower end of the installation plate is provided at the lower end of the front face panel 2. The containing part 18 for pipes is opened at the lower face against the rear plate, and closed so as to be freely opened or closed against the lower face part 2d of the front face panel 2d. |
