<p>Titanium dioxide particles are subjected to a surface treatment with a calcium salt and/or a silane coupling agent or with a combination of these with an aluminic salt, whereby titanium dioxide particles greatly reduced in volatile water content can be obtained. A masterbatch containing the resulting titanium dioxide particles can give high-quality products free from defects caused by bubbling during high-temperature processing.</p> |
