PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate hindrance to vibrations of a resonant body main body and to improve the playing performance and outward appearance by arranging the pickup device on the reverse surface of a top plate, covering the top of the resonant body main body, opposite strings. SOLUTION: The Taisho lyre 1 is equipped with the box type resonant body main body 2 which is long in the right-left direction, plural strings 3 which are tensed over the top surface of the resonant body 2, plural keys 4 which press the strings 3 to determine an interval, the top plate 5 which covers the rear end parts of the keys 4 and is used as a music stand. At the end part of the top plate 5 on the side of a lower bridge 9, a fitting part 5A which is positioned on the right side of the highest-position key 4a is extended in one body and on the reverse surface of this fitting part 5A, the electromagnetic pickup unit 20 which takes vibrations of the respective strings 3 out as an electric signal is arranged corresponding to all the strings 3. This constitution eliminates the need to build the pickup unit 20 in the resonant body main body 2 from a resonant hole 6, simplifies the structure, and never impedes the vibrations of the resonant body main body 2. |
