PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the size of a display area of a display if necessary by pulling sub-displays out of a terminal equipment body to expand the display area of a main display. SOLUTION: A storage space provided at the back face of a main display has sliding grooves for sliding sub-displays 13-15 vertically and laterally so as to store the sub-displays 13-15 inside the main display 12. The sub-displays 13-15 are pulled out of the upper part and lateral sides of the main display 12 using hooks 2. When the subdisplays 13-15 are pulled out of the main display 12, the moving quantity of the sub-displays 13-15 is detected by a sensor. Contents displayed on the main display 12 and sub-displays 13-15 are changed according to the moving quantity of the sub-displays 13-15 detected by this sensor.
