Size measuring system for block-shaped goods being conveyed

The system uses three distance sensors (6), each having a transmitter and a receiver part. The measurement directions (I) of the three sensors are at right-angles to each other. The reception element for the goods being conveyed consists of a baseplate (2) and stop elements (3) for the alignment of the goods (1) on the baseplate. The baseplate is designed to be rectangular, and at two adjacent peripheral sides is bordered by the stop elements (3). Which respectively are designed as upright standing flat sections, and form together with the baseplate a corner (4), for the alignment of the goods being conveyed.
