PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telephone device which can confirm whether a user is in a calling state. SOLUTION: When the user performs on-hook operation (step 301), the on- hook operation done by the user is reported (step 303). When the partner performs on-hook operation (step 304), the on-hook operation done by the partner is reported (step 306). If on-hook operation is caused because of an inferior line state (step 307), the on-hook operation caused by the inferior line state reported (step 309).
