The width of at leat the central part (2) is equal to that of the card secured within it. The bent-over end parts (3, 4) can be different in size and/or shape. One end part fits over at least one third part of a card. The end parts (3, 4) have turned-over edges (5, 6) which following the longitudinal cross-section of the clip (1) are parallel to each other. The turned-over edges at approximately the same height are on opposite sides of the central part (2). A turned-over edge forms a folding edge with one end part, which is located at a split distance from the central part.
