PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely provide a controller for preventing engine stall. SOLUTION: This is a controller for preventing engine stall of a hybrid vehicle fitted with an engine, an electric motor, and a battery, and is provided with a clutch operation decision means which decides the condition of connection of a clutch by clutch operation, a clutch condition decision means which decides the condition of connection of the clutch from the relation of correspondence of the vehicle speed with the speed of the engine, a throttle opening decision means, a first engine speed changing means (S010) for changing a lower limit engine speed for charging and regeneration permission by the electric motor, and a partial-clutch-engagement decision maintaining means (S008) which maintains decision of the clutch which is in a partially engaged state for a specified time, when it is decided that a throttle is totally closed and the clutch is partially engaged. When the decision of the clutch being partially engaged is maintained, the lower limit engine speed for charging and regeneration permission is increased by the first engine speed changing means. |
