MULTI-CHANNEL SWITCHING DEVICE USING SINGLE ELECTRON TUNNELING

摘要

PURPOSE: A multi-channel switching device using single electron tunneling is provided to reduce the number of unit devices by using conductivity according to each electric potential of electron islands. CONSTITUTION: A multi-channel switching device using single electron tunneling comprises a multitude of electron island and a conductive line. The multitude of electron island is arranged in a linear shape. Electrons of the electron island are isolated. The conductive line is penetrated into both directions of each electron island to a vertical direction of the arranged direction. The penetrating current is applied to a few electron island of a whole structure of the electron island arrangement.
