PURPOSE: An axle supporting structure improves driving stability of a car and prevents shimmy phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: An axle supporting structure comprises a shock absorber(2), the first supporting bracket(3), an axle(4), the second supporting bracket(5), an air spring(6) and two supporting rods(7). The shock absorber(2) has one end mounted on a chassis(1). The first supporting bracket(3) is attached on the other end of the shock absorber(2). The axle(4) is mounted on the lower end of the first supporting bracket(3) with a certain caster angle(&thgr;). The second supporting bracket(5) is attached on the first supporting bracket(3) latitudinally perpendicularly with the first supporting bracket(3). The air spring(6) has one end attached on the free end of the second supporting bracket(5) and the other end attached to the chassis(1). The supporting rods(7) are forwardly and backwardly movably inserted into guide holes(9) formed on the third supporting bracket(8) having one end rotatably engaged with the first supporting bracket(3) and the other end attached to the car chassis(1).
