PURPOSE: A multipurpose boiler is provided to use various kinds of fuel and to reduce costs required for installation or maintenance. CONSTITUTION: A boiler(10) consists of a body(12), a door(14) mounted in front of the body, a briquette stove adhered to a door inside, and a gas flue(24) mounted on the body. A basket(18) is set in the body to lay fuel thereon. A roller is installed under the basket and moved on a rail(20). A user opens a door(14) of the boiler, pulls the basket therein forward and lays coal, wood and waste paper on the basket. When the user pushes the basket into the body again and operates a burner(48), the boiler is heated by the burning coal, wood or waste paper. In the other case, the boiler is heated by a briquette stove mounted on the door. The multipurpose boiler adopts various kinds of fuel for heating. Therefore, maintenance cost is reduced and thermal efficiency is enhanced by direct heating method.
