PURPOSE: A multi-system television receiver is to reduce a load of a television controller by controlling the multi-system television receiver through a plurality of micro-processors having a hierarchical structure. CONSTITUTION: A digital broadcasting signal process unit(102) processes a digital broadcasting signal to generate an RGB signal and H-sync/V-sync signals. An NTSC signal process unit(100) processes an NTSC signal to generate 2X RGB signal and H-sync/V-sync signals. A switch unit(126) selects one of the signals output from the digital broadcasting signal process unit and the NTSC signal process unit and a monitor signal of a personal computer according to current audience mode. A video generation unit(134) receives the RGB signal from the switch unit and adjusts a picture quality of the RGB signal in response to a picture quality control signal. A synchronization control unit(128) performs a multi-sink in response to a deflection control signal. A slave control unit(116) controls the NTSC signal process operation, the switching operation, a picture quality control operation and a multi-sink operation in response to an event execution command. A master control unit(110) controls the digital broadcasting signal process operation and provides the event execution command to the slave control unit with respect to events except for the digital broadcasting signal process operation.
