PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a flat and rectangular cutting article correctly along its diagonal line. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a pedestal 5 provided with a cutting article receiving part on its upper surface and to place the cutting article on it, a cutter frame 14 on which cutting blades 16 are vertically set and axially supported on frames 1, 1 through a link mechanism so that the aforementioned cutting blades 16 are rotated in the vertical direction and a driving mechanism to rotate the cutter frame 14 in the vertical direction. The receiver part 7 of the pedestal 5 is constituted of a pair of two receiver plates 8, 9 erected by providing a clearance 13 to insert the cutting blades 16 at an opposed part with its front end opposed and at a right angle and a presser plate 10 erected at a right angle with a rear end of the one receiver plate 8 by making one side rectangular opened and diagonal and matching a diagonal line passing through the clearance 13 with a slit 6 opened on the pedestal 5 and to insert the cutting blades 16 in it.
