METHOD OF ENHANCING MICROWAVE DENSITY IN MICROWAVE DIELECTRIC HEATING APPARATUS AND CHAMBER FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method of enhancing microwave density in a microwave dielectric heating apparatus is provided to enhance the field intensity in a chamber by installing two microwave generating devices of small capacity in the chamber. CONSTITUTION: At least two microwave generating devices(20) are installed in the upper part and the lower part of a chamber(10) of a dielectric heater(A). Emitting parts(21) of the microwave generating devices(20) are installed so that the generated electric fields are intersected perpendicularly with each other. A partition and a microwave choke are installed in the chamber neighboring the microwave to interrupt any interference between the microwaves. The total capacity of the microwave is increased as much as the number of the microwave generating devices(20). Large capacity of microwave can be obtained by using several microwave generating devices having small capacity. The dielectric heater can be manufactured with cheap cost.
