PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a hot water store type hot water supply appliance decreased in the generation of nitrogen oxide and a hot water storage type hot water supply apparatus. SOLUTION: The hot water storage type hot water supply apparatus 1 consists of a body part 5, a burner part 6, and a muffler 7. The body part 5 has a water chamber 7 formed at its internal part. A plurality of combustion gas passages 9 is formed in the water chamber 17. In the hot water storage type hot water supply appliance 1, the burner part 6 is mounted on a bottom plate 21 of the body part 5, and a burner body 25 is situated in a manner that fuel is injected in parallel against the fuel gas passage 3. Thus, flame does not collide with an inner wall and combustion gas is not guided directly to the fuel gas passage 3. Thereby, the hot water storage type hot water supply apparatus 1 in a working form is prevented from the occurrence of residence of combustion gas and the occurrence of a portion where temperature is excessively increased, and decreased in the generation of nitrogen oxide.
