PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sealing structure for an external wall joint, which enables sequential formation from a standard gasket installation portion to an indeterminate sealing material installation portion. SOLUTION: An elastic waterproof sheet material 24 having a skin layer formed thereon is retained by a rear surface of an external wall material 18 and a front surface of an external wall frame 14. The standard gasket 26 is fitted into a longitudinal joint 20 in a predetermined range, and the indeterminate sealing material 30 is filled in the same at a location below the gasket. Further, a predetermined draining gap 32 is formed in a joint portion between the gasket and the sealing material, and a draining piece 34 is attached to the portion by means of a double-faced tape. Therefore, water passing a drain 28 in the standard gasket 26 is dammed up by the draining piece 34 without passing the elastic waterproof sheet material 24, and then drained from a draining gap 38. As a result, the sequential formation of the standard gasket installation portion and the indeterminate sealing material installation portion is achieved.
