PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a temperature of a measurement object with further accuracy in a temperature sensor used for detecting the temperature of the measurement object such as gas. SOLUTION: This temperature sensor 2 comprises a resin-made element holding part 6 holding a thermistor 110 or the like, a covering case 8 covering a tip side of the element holding part 6, and a subject fitting 10 holding the element holding part 6. The subject fitting 10 is cylindrically formed and it has a hole part 12 bored in a side wall along a circumferential direction and a screw part 14 formed in an outer wall. The element holding part 6 has the thermistor 110 arranged on the tip side and a hexagon shaped collar part 16 protruding outward formed in an outer wall. When the temperature sensor 2 is fixed to a suction pipe, the element holding part 6 comprising resin is exposed from an outer surface of the suction pipe. By this, heat cannot be easily conducted inside and outside the suction pipe via the temperature sensor 2 and the temperature of sucked gas can be accurately measured.
