PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and easy-to-use reservation system for rental items using the Internet. SOLUTION: A user terminal 21 accesses to web pages 32 of a rental company 10 on a server 31 of a provider 30 through the Internet, searches necessary items information and selects rental items and inputs reservation information of the items selected on the web pages 32, and transmits the input items reservation information to the server 31. The server 31 updates both the items information and information of operational status 35 based on items reservation information (order information) received from the user terminal 21, generates reservation identification information, and transmits the reservation identification information to both the user terminal 21 and an onsite terminal of a rental store. The rental store identifies a user 20 based on the reservation identification information and makes a delivery the item in exchange for rental fee. |
