PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article selling system which controls inventory minutely and supplies the article based on a precise inventory data. SOLUTION: The article selling system 1 which supplies an article to a consumer's terminal 70 connected through the Internet comprises an article database 10 in which information on an article is stored and an inventory database 20 in which information on its inventory is stored, updates the inventory information of the article in the inventory database when the article is designated by a consumer, and, if payment for the article is not settled by the consumer within a predetermined period of time, puts the inventory information of the article back to the state before the update. |
