PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system of simple constitution which electronically actualizes service equivalent to a scratch card at low cost. SOLUTION: A sales promotion thing generating device 1 lays out and prints advertisement image data and symbol image data as a sales promotion thing and a customer carries the sales promotion thing to a store; and a scanner 31 scans it and an information processing part 32 uses information embedded in the symbol image data on the sales promotion thing to provide information regarding a privilege for the customer.
