PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time taken until the whole commodity temperature reaches a preset temperature by reducing variation in amount of time taken until the commodity temperature reaches a preset temperature when the commodity in the commodity storehouse is cooled or heated, and to sell the commodity kept at the right temperature in selling the commodity. SOLUTION: This vending machine is provided with a cooling temperature device having a blower, a wind direction varying device for varying the direction of wind sent from the blower, a gas quantity varying means for varying the quantity of gas sent from the blower, a preset temperature changing means and a control means for controlling the means, a plurality of temperature sensors for detecting the temperature of the plurality of portions in a commodity storehouse, and a carry-out number detecting means for detecting the number of carried-commodity in a plurality of commodity columns. In the cooling temperature device, the control means controls the wind direction varying device, the gas quantity varying means and a preset temperature according to the temperature sensor and the carry-out number detecting means.
