<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color retrieving apparatus capable of retrieving actual prescriptions possessed by dye works effectively without omission. SOLUTION: The color retrieving apparatus is networked together with retrieving terminals and dye works terminals connected to the color retrieving apparatus. The color retrieving apparatus receives retrieval condition information including retrieval color information and color difference information from a retrieving terminal, stores actual color information specified by a color specification value, which has been transmitted from a terminal of a dye works, and the actual prescription of which is possessed by the dye works, and selects color information included in the range, the center of which is a color specified by the retrieval color information and which is specified by the color difference information, from the stored actual color information. The result of the retrieval is transmitted to the retrieval terminal which has transmitted the retrieval condition information.</p> |
