<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor which enables extraction of signals with high accuracy and a small number of signals by taking frequency modulation and amplification modulation into consideration, when the signals of arbitrary frequency components are extracted from the time series signals. SOLUTION: The coding side of the signal processor is provided with a frequency analysis circuit 10 which carries out frequency analysis to the time series signals of N pieces of samples, a modulation parameter analysis circuit 11 for analyzing time variation of the nearby frequencies, and/or time variation of the amplitude above the frequency being an output of the frequency analysis circuit 10, and a modulation signal extraction circuit 12 for extracting the modulation signal which minimizes total energies of the residue on the basis of a certain frequency modulation parameter and/or amplitude modulation parameter being the output of the modulation parameter analysis circuit 11, and outputs the final residue and information on the modulation signal.</p> |
