<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide device and method for molding a spiral pipe socket part capable of obtaining a constitution for securing water stopping property between the spiral pipe and the spiral pipe socket part provided at the end part or the spigot part and preventing damage of the spiral pipe socket part when applying external force. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a metallic mold 6 for molding the spiral pipe socket part provided at the end of the spiral pipe A by resin injection molding. A spiral pipe insertion space 63 is formed in the metallic mold 6. By inserting the end part of the spiral pipe A in the spiral pipe insertion space 63, a cavity C for molding the spiral pipe socket part is formed between both of the space 63 and the end part. By supplying a fused resin material to the cavity C, making the resin material flow into a recessed part on an outer peripheral surface of the spiral pipe A and performing a mold opening after cooling the resin material, the spiral pipe socket part formed integrally at the end part of the spiral pipe A is obtained.</p> |
