The holder (12) has the fluid line or cable (1) held between 2 relatively hinged arms (13,14) fitting around its outside, with projections (9) of the fluid line or cable fitting into gaps between spaced projections (17) of the holder, or vice versa, for fixing the angular position of the fluid line or cable relative to the holder. The hinged arms are provided as half shells held closed by a closure (15) on the opposite side to the hinge (16).
