The suspension for load hooks, especially for blocks of cable pulleys, has a support component (3) in which is mounted the load hook (1) by its shank (9). The horizontal pivot point (18) of the load hook is formed by cylindrical rollers (19) lying opposite each other on both sides of the shank. The cylindrical rollers are supported on a support ring (10) which is fitted and fastened in a recess (2) in the support component. The support ring is fixed in the support component by a locking element (12) and especially a spring ring.
