In a variant, aligned indentations in the flattened zones take the spring which in this case encircles the joint, the indentations making up a circle in plan view, itself expanded between two tangents. In this variant, the spring ends project straight at the tangents so the ends home respectively onto opposing tangent walls. The joint should take the form of a screwbolt.
