<p>The gloves used by the therapist when massaging a client is normally made of an elastic material like latex or rubber. Gloves with a textured surface are available to be used in particular techniques, but the texture is only present at the inner surface of the hands. The new design of massaging gloves is provided with short spikes with rounded tips distributed across the entire surface, facilitating the performance of a wider range of treatments including pressure and knocking massages as used in Rolfing.</p> |
