PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionic complex having a new chemical structure, useful as a supporting electrolyte for electrochemical device, a polymerization catalyst for polyolefins, a catalyst for organic synthesis and the like. SOLUTION: The ionic complex comprises a chemical structure represented by general formula (1) (wherein M is Al, B or P; A<SP>a+</SP>is Li ion, an onium ion or proton; X<SP>1</SP>is O, S, or NR<SP>5</SP>; R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently H, a halogen, a 1-10C alkyl or a 1-10C haloalkyl; R<SP>3</SP>is a 1-10C alkylene, a 1-10C haloalkylene, a 6-20C aryl or a 6-20C haloaryl; R<SP>4</SP>is a halogen, a 1-10C alkyl, a 1-10C haloalkyl, a 6-20C aryl, a 6-20C haloaryl or X<SP>2</SP>R<SP>7</SP>).
