<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television call system that can be always connected to the opposite party, when a television caller side transmits a television call by enabling the television caller side to grasp whether the opposite party is in a state capable of placing television calls, prior to the start of the television call. <P>SOLUTION: A Web page is displayed on a first videophone.
