<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily and simply attach an image reading section and fix it. <P>SOLUTION: A press-in portion 248 of a protrusion portion 220 enters from an opening 506A of the top of a first strut 500. Since a wide portion 250 is larger (has larger dimension) than the opening 506A, the wide portion 250 does not enter the first strut 500, but is caught in the opening 506 and engaged. Also, at the same time, a hook portion 252A of a tip of a snap fit 252 is engaged to an engaging hole 560A. As a result, the protrusion portion 220 does not come out of the first strut 500, but is fixed. Further, pins 800, 802 of a blower connector (male) 800 are inserted and mated with pin holes 801, 803 of a blower connector (female) 850, thereby electrically connecting an image forming section 100 with an image reading section 200.
