<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying ammonia to a hydrogen conversion catalyst capable of quantitatively supplying highly-concentrated ammonia gas to the hydrogen conversion catalyst even when ammonia is desorbed batchwise from an ammonia adsorbent. <P>SOLUTION: The method for supplying ammonia to a hydrogen conversion catalyst comprises the steps of condensing in a condenser 6 ammonia gas collected from waste water using an adsorbent, holding the condensed gas in a tank 7 as a highly-concentrated ammonia solution, taking out the ammonia solution from the tank 7 using a metering pump 8 and heating it in a vaporizer 9, and quantitatively supplying a generated ammonia gas to a hydrogen conversion catalyst 10. Alternatively, ammonia gas is generated by adding alkali such as NaOH to the tank 7 and quantitatively supplied to the hydrogen conversion catalyst 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
