A method for managing patient charts using the network is provided to aim at correctness of data by making the protector input clinical data, such as a daily diet quantity, a urine/feces frequency, body heat and blood pressure, of the patient to a terminal allocated to each patient in a hospital. Patient information inputted from an external terminal connected through the network is stored, and a patient ID matched with the patient information is generated and stored(S210). The terminal for periodically providing a patient state is registered by linking with the patient ID(S220). The patient state information periodically inputted through the terminal is stored together with time information(S230). In case that the patient state information is not inputted for a predetermined period, a message is transmitted to the terminal(S250). In the case that the received patient state information is over a reference data range, a guide message is transmitted to the terminal of the protector or a medical staff terminal of the patient(S290).
