An automatic pipeline searching method and a heating system using the same are provided to allow for ease of construction or maintenance of the heating system by automatically searching and mapping flow regulators of a heating pipeline. An automatic pipeline searching method comprises a step of controlling only one of plural flow regulators so that hot water flows along only one heating pipeline(S1,S2); a step of reading indoor temperatures from each indoor temperature controller during operation of a boiler(S3); and a step of mapping information of the indoor temperature controller arranged in the place with newly raised indoor temperature and opened flow regulator, and storing the information in a memory(S5).
