<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the accuracy of a structure to be constructed by positioning a tank in an elevating machine for elevating and lowering a construction table in a stereolithography chamber, wherein the construction table is lowered into the tank holding a liquid resin or is elevated from the tank. <P>SOLUTION: This elevating machine comprises a first elevating-machine sub-assembly which is operably associated with the tank so that the tank can be attached into the chamber, and a second elevating-machine sub-assembly 39 which is fixed into the stereolithography chamber so as to be releasably engaged with the elevating-machine sub-assembly. The second elevating-machine sub-assembly 39 is equipped with a positioning pin 83 for aligning the tank in the stereolithography chamber.
