<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource utilization system capable of efficiently utilizing resources at a saved running cost by organically combining un-utilized wood, sludge and impurities and treating them. <P>SOLUTION: Wood (1) obtained by thinning out trees or trimming trees is crushed to produce wood chips (2) and a component liquid (3) is extracted from the wood chips (2) by a distillation apparatus (30). Mud (11), fertilizing nutrients (12), and organic matter (13) are separately obtained from an object to be treated (10) such as sludge and impurities by a filtration apparatus (70). The residue (4) of the wood chips (2) from which the component liquid (3) is extracted and the mud (11) are fired by a rotary kiln (50) to produce ceramic charcoal (15).
